STAR Skating-PRIVATE

STAR Skating offers skaters of all ages the opportunity to learn the fundamental skills of figure skating in the following disciplines:

Unique to Canada, this program teaches figure skating skills in a progressive and logical manner, through group or private lessons, and includes rewards designed specifically for this group of skaters. Participants may also take Skate Canada tests through a standardized national testing system. Skaters who master figure skating skills may choose to continue in singles skating or move toward pairs skating.
How STAR Training Works at CPA LaSalle
Skaters develop through private or semi‑private lessons, depending on their goals and level. To participate in the STAR program, arrangements must be made directly with a coach.

Fees Associated with the STAR Program
Skaters are responsible for:

ice fees (based on the session selected)

coach fees, paid per lesson, according to the agreement between the skater and the coach
It is essential to have a clear agreement with a coach before registering, to ensure proper follow‑up and appropriate planning.
Fees – Fall 2026 Session
Fall Session from September 20 to December 20, 2026

Private STAR : range from $45 to $60 depending on session duration
Mandatory Additional Fees

Skate Canada annual fee (non‑refundable): $64
